1) What is a PSTN?
PSTN is an acronym for Public Switched Telephone Network, which refers to the international telephone system. Telephone service carried by the PSTN is often called plain old telephone service (POTS).

PBX is an acronym for Private Branch eXchange. Which, in most cases is an office phone system.
